About this event

Yom Kippur (Day of Atonment) is a time to remember the great sacrifice needed for atonement, and reflect on the atonement offered through Yeshua (Jesus). This is a time to examine ourselves, knowing that repentance brings refreshing. “For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God” (Romans 14:10). Today, we rejoice that God has washed our sins away by the blood of Messiah Yeshua.

White clothing is traditionally worn on this day.

We are looking forward to having you join us for the fall holidays. Some things will be different than previous years; no food will be served and childcare/children's classes will not be provided.

Below are some ways we are working to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

  • Because of the limited number of people who can be onsite during this phase, advanced registration to attend service is required.
  • A tent has been purchased to provide outdoor seating for the worship service.
  • Chairs will be grouped in household units, and there will be 6 feet (2 meters) between household groups.
  • Hand-washing stations have been added to the sanctuary and fellowship hall buildings. Bathroom faucets and soap dispensers have been converted to touchless units.
  • Ultraviolet air purifiers have been added to the HVAC system in both buildings.
  • High-touch surfaces will be cleaned more frequently during services.
  • Everyone above the age of 4 years old is required to wear a face covering.
  • Children must stay with their parents at all times.
  • The playground and classrooms are closed.
  • Attendees are asked to be aware of the signs of Covid-19 and asked not to attend if not feeling well.
  • Attendees are asked not to attend if they have been in direct contact with a Covid-19 positive individual in the past 14 days.
  • Attendees are asked to respect physical distancing, and refrain from handshaking or hugging.
  • Although there will be no oneg, children's classes, or dancing during this phase, we are looking at ways to resume them in future phases.
  • Risk increases with increased exposure time, so we ask that people leave the property by 8:30pm.
